You Need to See This Amazing Lego Millennium Falcon Close Up

May 17 2015 - 12:20pm

There are Star Wars fans who enjoy quoting Yoda, and then there are Star Wars fans who spend two months building an intricate 10,000-piece Lego model of the Millennium Falcon [1].

Titans Creations [2], a Singapore-based group that works on My Own Creation (MOC) Lego designs [3], created the Millennium Falcon for a "May the 4th Be With You" [4] event at Legoland Malaysia. In preparation, they spent two months planning and building the creation with only six builders. The final presentation involves 10,000 Lego pieces, 24 LED lights, no roof, and it measures 3.9 feet by 2.8 feet. It's also, unsurprisingly, bigger than Lego's own "Ultimate Collector's Edition" of the Millennium Falcon, which has won second place in Legoland Malaysia's competition [5] with their Millennium Falcon and, while it may not be able to make the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs, it's definitely one of the coolest Lego renditions ever. Since it's an MOC, there are unfortunately no set of instructions on how to do it yourself. But you can still take a close look at all the cool details (and Easter eggs) with the photos ahead.
