If you thought The Wall was an architectural marvel while watching Game of Thrones, you haven't seen anything yet. The geniuses at Beyond the Brick [1] outdid themselves with a truly spectacular Lego masterpiece, made up of 125,000 pieces and moving, motorized parts. The subject of this massive play-brick replica is the Red Keep, better known as the massive Lannister castle in King's Landing — and the Lego re-creation moves just like the animation in the opening sequence of the HBO show.
Give the full video a watch to behold the truly marvelous effort that went into this project, and it might inspire you to get cracking on your own geeky Lego project. What will it be: a Harry Potter homage [3], or perhaps a high-fashion dress [4]? The choice is all yours.
