Marissa Mayer, president and CEO of Yahoo, announced the arrival of her identical twin girls this morning. She tweeted the news early Thursday morning.
Zack and I are excited to announce that our identical twin girls were born early this morning. Our whole family is doing great! @zackbogue [1]

Her twin girls arrive just a little over a week after Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan's baby, Max, was born [3]. Mayer's initial announcement of her pregnancy and decision to take "limited time away" prompted widespread debate [4] about maternity leave.
It's unclear just how much time Mayer will take for maternity leave, but whatever she decides to do, congrats all around!
