Wow, its standout feature is that it doesn't weigh more then any other tablet currently on the market. If "less then two pounds" is a big deal, you must have really been hurting to find four features for this article.   I can just imagine some of the rejected ones:   "It has a battery so you don't need to be near a power outlet" "You can touch the screen to make it do stuff" "It has a built in speaker"

The keyboard is an welcome intelligent and simple idea. Congrats Microsoft. The success, as so often the case with Microsoft, will depend on the usability and stability of the device. I don't need another keyboard to conveniently and repeatedly hit control/alt/delete...

I have to say, as an iPad2 owner, that picture of the black case and Surface looks really awesome. I think this device just leapt all Android tablets.
