Commercials on Netflix?

Your worst nightmare could be coming true. Netflix, the streaming service that made commercials and fast-forwarding commercials obsolete, may soon run ads [1], according to reports. Binge-watching will never be the same. "Some members in a limited test now are seeing teases before a show begins," said Netflix in a statement. The good news is that ads will only run for Netflix original series, like House of Cards and Orange Is the New Black [2]. The company says it has no current plans to run third-party ads. Let's hope it stays that way. Or else we'll fall into a deep depression, without endless commercial-free episodes of Gilmore Girls [3] to console us.
