New Limited Edition DS Hit Shelves Friday

Colorful DS Bundles Available on Black Friday

I know I don't need an excuse to buy a new Nintendo DS, but if you don't have one yet (side note: Why?), then Black Friday is the perfect time to dive in. Starting November 28, you can pick up a DS in one of two new colors: Mario Red and Ice Blue. This is great news since the majority of you like your gadgets with a little hue on them. But the best part isn't just the new shades. Just like we saw last year, these hot new handhelds are being bundled with two of my favorite games to get you started — Super Mario Bros, and Brain Age.

The bundles will set you back $150 bucks, but the price is totally right for a limited edition color. I'm getting up early to snatch one up as a Christmas gift, although I'm not sure yet who will be the lucky recipient. But really, who wouldn't love a new DS? And if they don't, then it's more DS action for me. Merry Christmas, indeed.

i love the ice blue and remember hearing that it would be available in america next year so i'm not gonna rush out to get this just because of the color. i already have those games and i love my darker blue. but, congrats sweetpeabrina on your great semester! i loved grad school because it was actually stuff i cared about! haha.

Nice bundles, but I think I like my silver DS better. :) As much as I usually love bright colors I think in this case I'm glad I passed. Though I do reaaalllly want the Super Mario game!

I'm thinking of getting the Brain Age set just for the light blue DS. I have the game already, but I can always give that away :)

I also have both of those games... I'm planning on getting my DS on black friday. Hopefully it's a little cheaper

The blue one is nice, but I really want the metallic silver DS. By the way, I know the DS is for playing games, but why haven't they jumped on the ebook craze? At least offer a dictionary/thesaurus "game" for when I'm studying.

I want the blue one, but I already have a DS lite!

I can't wait! I'm getting a DS to celebrate 1 semester of grad school being finished with a 4.0. yay!

brilliant, but it would be nice if they came with games that were a bit newer. i have both of those games, so it's not really a selling point for me. i'd go for it if it was with a new game that i don't have. :{
