All season long we'll be sharing the wish lists of our favorite tech influencers, from CEOs to trailblazing geek girls. Kicking things off is Pebble smartwatch [1] CEO and founder, Eric Migicovsky. Not sure what the Pebble is? It's an e-paper smartwatch [2] that broke Kickstarter records by raising over $10 million, which, at the time, was the most money a crowdfunding campaign had ever raised. The watch ($99 for Pebble, $199 for Pebble Steel) connects with both iPhones and Android smartphones via Bluetooth and displays notifications (texts, emails, etc.), as well as a variety of other information. Many apps — including RunKeeper, GoPro, the Weather Channel, and more — have a special interface designed just for the Pebble watch. You can even order pizza [3] with it.

Since Pebble's Kickstarter campaign ended in 2012, the wearable tech industry has exploded. Apple and Google entered the smartwatch race soon after with their own options, but Pebble was the watch that started it all. In fact, we think that the Pebble still dominates in terms of battery life (seven days) and multiplatform compatibility.
