Persida Lapsac: Love It or Leave It?

After seeing oodles of laptop bags at CES and MacWorld, I seriously thought I was going to have to take a break for awhile before I posted another tote. This Persida Lapsac by Nanda Home caught my eye because it's far from your average laptop bag. Featured on Popgadget, this bag is large enough to double as a purse and a laptop bag, with a padded zipper front for your laptop and a large compartment with four inner pockets for your other goodies. The Persida Lapsac is designed to fit laptops up to 12.78"x9.1"x1.08 (about the size of a MacBook) and it only costs $58. What do you think? Love the color, but hate the design? Or love the design but wish it came in other colors?

Yes, it's big, but you only have to carry the one bag. You could always slide a clutch in there to grab if you just want to run out for lunch or whatever. It looks like it's got tons of room, which is perfect for a commuter bag. I hate carrying two or three bags, especially riding the bus or shuttle.

this looks like it would be the perfect carry-on. i hate traveling with my laptop in my backpack (which has a padded sleeve for it) because i look like a kid, so something like this would be perfect.

I would use it if my laptop could fit in it. I should just buy a macbook.

I think it's adorable; I just ordered it! Large bags are so handy for carrying extra stuff, like my lunch and a book to work.

I would use this as a weekender bag with lappy in tow. I love the design...and the price!

I love it.

It is huge, but honestly, I had a hard time finding a bag that fit my MacBook Pro that wasn't huge. I like the design a lot.

oh and it does come in other colors. there is a brown persida that has a similar motif, but the main color is brown. and there is also stella cream and stella magenta. they are really neat. the stella cream has the same cream canvas with a neat pattern overlaid in cream as well. i am in love with the stella cream.

Please please please, will someone find a cute laptop bag that won't have us pedestrians straining our shoulders lugging them around all day? All the shoulder bags are adorable, but they aren't very practical for toting anything heavy (like a laptop) very far. If anyone knows of a cute backpack-style tote, I'd love a heads up!

It's ADORABLE! I'm waiting until I get my new Mac and this will be the perfect bag. LOVE the design of the bag and the pattern.

i love it. i love the design, good colors and fun. i also really like the design. i haven't seen too many comfortable-looking laptop bags for women. currently my only choices are my messenger bag which ends up hurting my back and left shoulder after a long day or my back pack which isn't very fashionable. good size too as i usually carry an excessive amount of stuff with me.

LOVE IT! Seriously, whether I like it or not, I have tons of stuff to bring to work and around with me all day. Finally, somebody makes a bag for it - and the bag is great looking!

that is huge! people do like huge bags these days, though. i'd never have thought a laptop would be in there. maybe that is a good thing

It's a bit too small for my MBP, but i like the look of it. I think my mother might like it, though - she's a self-titled 'bag lady'. In her case, that means she's always carrying way too much stuff (most of which she has no use for) in one of several bags.

i like that it's big - it seems like something you would take on vacations or weekends away though. an encouragement to take work with you while you play? hmmmm...

I like the bag but it seems like the size may encourage over-packing and ultimately lead to sore shoulders, necks, and backs!

It looks nice enough for a laptop bag, but it's not really a purse... It looks like a small duffel bag. But it has its use, different strokes for different folks, right?

It's ugly, bulky, and looks uncomfortable to carry.
