Picnik Halloween Effects

Add Spooky Effects to Your Halloween Pics

If you aren't into parading around in a killer costume this Halloween, I totally understand (but if you are, be sure to post your pics in our community!). Coming up with an original idea and pulling it off in the hopes of impressing your friends for one night can be a bit stressful, so instead of feeling like a Debbie Downer at your BFF's Halloween fete, just smile for the camera and take heart knowing you can fake it after the fact.

How? Find out after the break.

Google announced yesterday that it's updated Picnik's photo editor with new Halloween-themed effects. The free web app lets you upload your pics and add stickers, costumes, decorations, and creepy fonts to your images, giving you the tools to turn you (or your pals) into vampires, zombies, and ghosts.

It's an inexpensive way to get in on the Halloween fun, without all the fuss of wading through your local costume shop. Besides, it's the pics on Facebook that really count, right?
