Our Candy Crush addiction [1] came and went — but after taking a sneak peek at a new game called Pokémon Shuffle [2], it looks like it's back.

Pokémon Shuffle is a new free game for Nintendo 2DS and 3DS that's not technically related to Candy Crush, but is a play on the same idea. Let's be honest: Candy Crush was just a modern rip-off of Bejeweled anyway. There are, of course, Pokémon in the new game, which means that it will be hundreds of hit points better than the original.

Here's how it works: line up three of the same Pokémon to deal damage to wild Pokémon, so you can catch 'em. There's no time limit, but you'll only have a certain number of moves. If your captured Pokémon Mega Evolves, it'll clear out a bunch of Pokémon at once. You'll be able to download the game as soon as February.
