The One Way to Get Comcast to Listen to Your Complaints

Feb 10 2015 - 12:15pm

Comcast is notorious for its horrendous customer service [1]. Seriously, people hate Comcast [2], and for good reason. That's why we're giving major props to Philadelphia Daily News columnist Ronnie Polaneczky, who took atrocious cable matters into her own hands. After receiving a large number of emails from customers complaining of the company's crap service, Polaneczky went to the ultimate source — Comcast CEO Brian Roberts's mother.

That's right. The reporter called the CEO's 92-year-old mother [3] after a couple told Polaneczky that they were struggling to get their Internet and cable set up after Comcast had broken multiple appointments with them over the span of six weeks. After the phone call, the couple had their services set up the very next day. It just goes to show that moms hold all the power.
