I use all of those with the exception of the charger stand. I've been thinking about getting one of those though.

Can I also suggest a copy of LoJack for Laptops? Works on Macs and it would totally suck if your home computer got stolen. I know...

Not sure about everyone else, but when I work from home, I log in remotely to my desktop and all of the files are saved on the drive on the server. I guess if you're working from home mainly then you would need a hard drive.

SO, a desk, a chair, a computer, a phone, an organizer, a lamp, and an external hd. the only non-obvious one here is the external hd. i can get behind that! If you don't plan on moving it much, it is cheaper to buy an internal hard-drive and then an external enclosure. Simply stick the hard drive in the enclosure (you only have to connect two little things) and then you have your very own external hd without forking over the extra cost.

I wouldn't call these essentials! Or else, working from home one day a week is so expensive it wouldn't be worth it. :P Maybe, 7 really-nice-but totally-out-of-my-price-range-things for a home office. ;)
