SlingPlayer Mobile App For Android Phones

SlingPlayer Mobile Heads to Android Phones

iPhone and BlackBerry users have been streaming their favorite TV shows via their Slingbox and SlingPlayer app for some time now, but starting today, Android users can get in on the mobile TV viewing action.

Available for $30 in the Android App store, the SlingPlayer Mobile app will allow you to control your home Slingbox Solo, Pro, or Pro-HD from a number of Android devices (including a few HTC handsets we've featured), and watch live TV, On-Demand programming, or recorded shows with just a few taps. Plus, you can stream SlingPlayer content over 3G, 4G, or a WiFi connection, so you'll always have your shows in your pocket.
