Instead of letting online bullies bring her down, a 17-year-old girl responded back with the most epic Facebook post. Lynelle Cantwell, who attends Holy Trinity High in Canada, found out she and other students had been secretly ranked in an anonymous online poll called "Ugliest girls at HTH." The ask.fm site even allowed social media users to make anonymous posts and comments about the students.

In a CBC news interview [1], Lynelle said while the post made her angry, she didn't want to "fight fire with fire" and decided to "make something that was really negative into something really positive."

So in response to her haters, she crafted a Facebook post that focused on the positive aspects of herself. She wrote, "I may not look okay on the outside . . . But i'm funny, nice, kind, down to earth, not judgmental, accepting, helpful, and I'm super easy to talk to." She even defended the other girls, saying, "thats the same for every other girl on that list that you all put down. Just because we don't look perfect on the outside does not mean we are ugly." Her honest and beautiful response has received more than 8,000 shares and 100 comments so far. Lynelle, who is overwhelmed with the feedback to her post, said, "I'm getting so many messages I can't answer all of them. Everything is just so positive."
