You guys, this is really bad. Time Warner Cable may have just surpassed Comcast's horrific service [1] with an unforgivable debacle of its own. A customer named Esperanza Martinez recently received a letter from Time Warner Cable after calling about an issue with her cable box. The letter was addressed to "C*nt Martinez."
Ars Technica [2] contacted the cable service who admitted that one of the company's representatives changed Martinez's first name to "C*nt" in the computer system. Time Warner issued an apology and offered Martinez a year of free service. Big whoop, the woman was totally disrespected. Here's to hoping this never happens to another Time Warner Cable customer. Check out Ars Technica [3] for full details on the story.
