Trade In Your Used Games With Amazon

Getting in Line: Amazon Lets You Trade In Games For Credit

First we got word of Best Buy selling used games, and now Amazon has announced that they will be starting their own game trade in program that lets you ship your used games to Amazon (for free — just print the shipping label) and receive a gift card to use anywhere on Amazon you wish.

The best part about this particular trade in program is this: Amazon is offering top dollar for your used games. A trade-in copy of Little Big Planet would fetch you around $26 bucks at your local GameStop (provided it's in good condition), but Amazon will hand over $29. But, how you could get rid of Little Big Planet is another issue altogether.

w00t. Just this past weekend we gathered up all of our old games as we were packing for our move (3 weeks!) to trade in. We were going to do GameStop but I kind of like the idea of using the old gamez for a pot rack or something practical.

Oh boy, do I have a lot of games that could go away! I have barely scratched the service on LBP! Slightly off topic- has anyone played LBP online?

Awesome! I really should clean out my assortment of games, there's so many and I barely have time to play my favorites.
