As football fans across the country celebrate the official return of the sports season on September 9, a new app has hit the iTunes store offering users an up-to-the-second look at NFL games and scores. TweetQB was created by the same people that brought us Fanpulse, an app that brings social media to sports, allowing you to enjoy your favorite games by checking in with friends to see which games they're interested in.

Building on the social and immediate aspects of sporting events — tweets, check-ins, and other posts associated with the games — TweetQB lists all current NFL games in progress and scheduled to start, along with tweets about each specific game. The app, which costs $1 in the App Store, is a quick way to find out the most important info about your favorite teams — and, of course, it's great for bragging rights, too!
