Twitter Stock Market Vine Video

Twitter Going Public, as Seen by Twitter Insiders

The iconic blue social media bird that is Twitter soared on to the New York Stock Exchange Thursday morning. With pretrading shares priced at $26 each, the company jumped to $45.10 making for some very excited Twitter executives and employees. One of the company's most public faces, cofounder and Square CEO Jack Dorsey, took to Vine, Twitter's short format video service, to give a firsthand look at the trading floor excitement.

Early Twitter adopters might notice the Vine's caption is a nostalgic nod to Jack's first tweet ever, which was also the first message sent on Twitter: "just setting up my twttr."

Across the country at Twitter headquarters in San Francisco, employees celebrated the financial milestone as seen in the below Vine from Twitter engineer Vlad Vassiliouk.
