Marriage means compromise, and this couple had to negotiate early on in their nuptials. When it came time for their wedding, UK couple Kia Parsons and Billy Bunning reached a mutual agreement on their cake design that truly satisfied the best of both worlds: classic white for her and . . . Marvel for him.
By looking at the four-tiered white cake head on, you wouldn't suspect anything but traditional. But take a look at its backside, and superheroes are waiting; it was Bunning's ode to heroes Captain America, Spider-Man, Batman, and Iron Man.
Designed by the owner of Tier by Tier bakery [1], Julia Baker, the cake took 40 hours to complete. "I loved every minute making this cake, as I knew it would be something that people would be surprised at and appeal to all the Marvel fans!" Baker told The Huffington Post [2].
