Back of Japanese USB Heated Luchbox Is the Shizz I'll admit that I have a slight obsession with Japan, spending time on my days off cruising the aisles of my favorite Japantown shops, but I have never — ever — seen this amazing lunchbox in person, which makes me sad. The USB powered lunchbox I caught on Tokyo Mango keeps your food toasty warm while you work so you don't have to deal with unevenly heated microwaved eats come lunch time. The box heats up and safely maintains a 140 degree heat via your USB connection, which allows you to eat right at your desk. And let's be honest, we all eat at our desks more than we should, making the lunchbox even more attractive, since the walk to the microwave is a long one. The only thing I'm missing? A homemade bento box to enjoy. Bummer. BloodyFuFu 8 years Nice idea, but I haven't met a USB warmer or cooler that works better than meh. Maybe if you microwaved it and then stored it in there it would stay warm. I'm a skeptic. KadBunny 8 years I freaking love the Japanese! :D I still get teased about rockin those little lunchboxes but I don't care; and gadgets like that just make it all worth it. Katie-Kat398180 8 years Do you know where I can get one of these in the States? It would be perfect for my husband! ashemiku 8 years Ooh. I have several bento boxes, but I can never take warm food because it always gets cold by lunch. I wonder how much these cost ... ? insidesusan 8 years I don't know, if my food was already hot and ready to eat at my desk all day, I don't think I'd be able to wait until lunchtime. I'd scarf it down around 10am.
