i like it better than a power strip for sure. it's nicer to look at. but i agree with everyone else, i wouldn't want it to just turn off my stuff when it wants to. i tend to let everything charge at night when i'm sleeping, so i need it to stay pulgged in.

Amen, macgirl. I do turn mine off before I go to bed, but I would rather just leave it in standby during the day.

No way would I hook this up to my laptop. My machine maybe gets restarted once every other week if needed. I do close the lid and let it deep sleep most nights which should keep it fairly green. Other than that I would rather get solar than chance that it turns my computer off ;-)
