A good meme is one that makes you laugh or even take part in it, like the Running Man Challenge [1]. Some are bizarre and weird like caveman Spongebob [2] taking over everywhere. The latest one that really hit its peak on Father's Day [3] is the "Don't talk to me or my son ever again" meme. A mixture of bad photoshopping and then actual photos have made this meme one that you can look at over and over again.
The meme originally started in 2014, with a bad photoshop of Spike Spiegel, a character from Cowboy Bebop, an anime series. The photo included a mini Spike Spiegel and, according to Know Your Meme [4], included a "don't talk to me or my son ever again" text over it. That was the only iteration until 2015, when a Tumblr user did the same idea with a big Yoshi toy and a smaller amiibo one. A Twitter user then tweeted out a photo of a big animated Yoshi and a terrible photoshopped version and the meme took off. When you find the meme online, you'll see versions that continue this photoshopping tradition and others that try to find a real-life smaller replica of the big version.
