If you're someone who played Pokémon as a kid (or continues to, because let's be real, the games are awesome), you definitely still wonder what the inside of a Pokéball must be like. While the franchise hasn't ever really discussed what it must be like to live in a Pokéball, one animator and illustrator decided to create those ideas himself.

First the illustrator, Steven Crosby — who is better known as rocketbloc™ [1] — designed what the insides of three Pokéballs would look like for Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander. Then animator John Schlemmer [2], who is a motion designer at Google, joined in on the fun and actually gave the designs a moving element. The results are wonderful and take anyone back to their first time playing Pokémon.

The series is very popular, as it continues to bubble up on Reddit [3] and Imgur [4] every so often. It's hard not to imagine why — the images complete what every fan has been thinking about for so long.
