Well, the iWatch Is Coming a Lot Sooner Than We Thought
Just make our smartwatch dreams come true, Apple! The company filed for a watch-like patent in 2013 — and gadget geeks have been anticipating high-tech iOS arm candy for some time now. Now, Re/Code is suggesting that the iWatch will be announced during Apple's Sept. 9 event, despite the fact that KGI analysts reported major production delays for the new device.
Production for the watch will apparently begin in July, and sources at the manufacturing plant say that the device's display is rectangular, measures 2.5 inches diagonally, and features wireless charging capabilities.
What could Jony Ive-designed wearable tech look like? Many artists have taken a stab at imagining what Apple's iWatch would look like, but we think the concepts from these six studios are the closest to what will be the real thing.
