What This 70-Year-Old Woman Did For a Complete Stranger Will Move Your Soul
We all need a reminder that there's always good in the world, it just depends on where you look. Ehab Taha shared a beautiful scene he witnessed on Feb. 6 during his commute, and the story touched social media users everywhere.
In a photo Taha posted on Facebook, an elderly woman is seen holding the hand of a guy who is sitting on the floor. According to Taha, the man got on the train and was "being very aggressive" and scaring the other passengers with his movements. During this episode, while everyone else froze, a 70-year-old woman reached out and held onto the man's hand until he relaxed and then sat down, with tears in his eyes.
"I'm a mother and he needed someone to touch," she said to Taha after the incident. The post is below.
This powerful photo, which already has more than 32,000 shares and 139 "likes," shows a fleeting moment most of us would have probably missed and reminds us that no simple gesture is ever too small.
