Just a Friendly Reminder That "Frushi" — a Fruit Dessert in the Shape of Sushi — Exists at Epcot

Mar 12 2020 - 7:25am

From mini funnel cakes with lavender icing [1] to vanilla blueberry cronuts [2], Epcot's annual Flower and Garden Festival [3] is full of beautiful and delicious treats that scream Spring. But the cutest (and probably most mind-bending) treat of all is frushi — a sweet fruit dessert in the shape of sushi. The festival runs until June 1, and the Instagram-worthy dish [4] is served at the park's Japan location. So what, exactly, does frushi entail? The sushi-inspired food is made with pineapple, strawberry, and cantaloupe, and the fruits are rolled in sweet rice and a pink soy wrap and topped with drizzled berry sauce and toasted coconut. Even sweeter? It's served with a side of whipped cream. File under: must try. Check out some gorgeous snaps of the festival favorite, then explore some of the best foods at the Disney parks [5].
