Brooklyn Beckham may have grown up in one of the world's most famous families, but today, he's carving out his own path: one defined by quiet rituals, meaningful meals, and a deep appreciation for life's smaller moments. Whether he's cooking dinner at home in Los Angeles or traveling through Italy with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham [1], Brooklyn keeps his focus on what matters most: love, laughter, and really good pasta.
His latest partnership with Barilla [2] for the relaunch of their premium Al Bronzo line couldn't be more fitting. "It started with my love for pasta, and obviously my love for Barilla," he says. His signature dish? Spaghetti bolognese. "I make it at least once or twice a week. It's my favorite. And Nicola loves it too, which helps!"
For Brooklyn, food is a love language. Cooking with Nicola has become one of their favorite shared rituals. "She's a great sous chef," he says. "We'll put on music or a show, open a bottle of wine, and cook together. Our dogs run around the house, and we just enjoy each other's company. It's our reset."
But his appreciation for home cooked meals didn't begin in LA — it's rooted in the traditions of his British upbringing. One in particular has followed him across the pond: the Sunday roast. "Being from England, you have to have a Sunday roast," Brooklyn says. "It's something me and my wife do every week, and it's a tradition I'll definitely carry on when we have kids."
He credits his iconic parents, Victoria [3] and David Beckham [4], with instilling values that continue to shape his life. "Put your head down, work hard, and be nice," he recalls as their best advice. It's a grounded perspective from someone whose life has been anything but ordinary.
Still, despite the spotlight, Brooklyn's priorities remain refreshingly simple: time with Nicola, quiet dinners at home, spontaneous travel, and his ever-growing love for cooking. "She's my best friend," he says of Nicola. "We laugh together, we cook together — that's what it's all about."
Ahead, Beckham shares the specific essentials he packs for a trip to Italy, from fashion staples to the neck pillow he swears by.

"This water bottle keeps your water cold, which is perfect for staying hydrated as we go out about our day," says Beckham. Durable and reliable, this water bottle is built for travel, daily commutes, and everything in between.
A Hoodie
Cloud23 Hoodie [7] ($65)
Beckham's off-duty uniform isn't complete without this ultra-comfy hoodie from his own brand, Cloud23. "It's rare these days to see me not wearing a Cloud23 jumper," he says. "It's become my almost-daily go-to — extra comfortable and warm, and proud to represent."
A Portable Charger
Anker MagGo Power Bank [8] ($75)
"While traveling and always being on the go, I carry this portable phone charger with me everywhere because it's easy to travel with and it has a long battery life so I never have to worry about my phone dying," Beckham says. Offering up to 1.8 charges, this power bank is a traveler's dream.
A Vintage Tee
Ralph Lauren Jersey Crewneck T-Shirt [9] ($75)
"Having extra t-shirts while traveling is essential," Beckham says. "A classic white tee is my go-to, especially in Italy, and it can be worn day or night." This timeless crewneck from Ralph Lauren offers soft jersey fabric and a clean silhouette that pairs with anything in your suitcase.
A Travel Neck Pillow
Slip Travel Neck Pillow [10] ($120)
"This pillow is incredibly comfortable and helps me get quality sleep on long flights," Beckham says. We couldn't agree more; it's a game changer for travel comfort. Made with Slip's signature silk, this travel pillow is not only luxuriously soft but also gentle on skin and hair, reducing friction and keeping you looking fresh when you land.
Headphones
Apple AirPods Max Headphones [11] ($549)
A good pair of headphones can make all the difference while you're traveling, and these Apple ones are Beckham's favorite. "If I'm sitting outside enjoying a coffee or tea enjoying the scenery, sometimes it's nice to put relaxing music and chill out," he says. "Also, if others in the house are sleeping, sometimes I'll use headphones to not disturb anyone."
