Anna Sui Makes a Case For Clashing Your Makeup Hues

The makeup at Anna Sui's Fall 2014 show was not for the faint of heart. While many ladies adhere to the golden rule of beauty — if you're doing a bold lip, tame down the eye, and vice versa — Sui's models had us itching to throw caution to the wind. Deep, burnt red lipstick was paired with a pearlescent blue eye, making for an unexpectedly gorgeous combination. Since the rest of the makeup was so bold, just a touch of contouring was added to the cheeks.

While some had their strands styled in sideswept waves, most models' hair was twisted into a low bun at the nape of the neck. But it was the front of the style that truly had personality. These looks were outfitted with fringe of their own, like Sui herself. These weren't any ordinary bangs, though.
