Chloe Bailey Obsesses Over Her Grammys Glam: "She Might've Lost, but Check Out This Hair"

Chloe Bailey didn't let her frustrating Grammys snubs stop her from obsessing over the glam she wore for the award show. The singer — who was nominated for best progressive R&B album, best traditional R&B performance, and best R&B song alongside her sister, Halle Bailey — stayed focused on fangirling about her own head-turning hair and makeup, which were executed by Los Angeles-based makeup artist Christiana Cassell and Sparkle Hair Imports founder Tinisha Meeks, respectively. Cassell gave Bailey a glossy neutral lip and shimmery, smoky eye, while Meeks styled her locs into a regal half-up, half-down hairstyle using quite the unexpected accessory. "I gathered her locs into sections using zip ties, then added some extra textured hair for a wow factor," she told POPSUGAR.

Once Bailey donned her gold Louis Vuitton dress and caught a glimpse of herself, she couldn't help but freak out over the results and even documented her pure reaction on Instagram Stories for us all to see. Ahead, check out a play-by-play of Bailey hyping herself up, and get ready to feel inspired by her unbothered energy.

OK, how cute is her surprised facial expression, though? "I'm obsessed with my hair and my dress and my gloves," Bailey said to the camera.

Of course, she gave a close-up look at those gloves of hers.

In her next IGS video, Bailey moved to her bathroom for some exceptional lighting and declared, "She might've lost, but check out this hair."

I meannnnn . . . WOW.

She let out an adorable tongue-out laugh.

The obsessing didn't stop there, and we can hardly blame her.

"The dress, the hair, the dress, the hair," she repeated.

She gave a few other looks at her hair and makeup outdoors.

Serving major face.

We're taking this confident energy with us through the rest of 2021.

Side note: we urgently need to know what lip product she used.

She also shared this TikTok video to further show off her look.
