Nanette Lepore wanted her models to embody the look of traveling gypsies. So, key makeup artist Sarah Lucero used a beige lipstick topped with a berry lip stain to achieve this well-worn mauve shade.
Didier Malige created a "couture ponytail" that was dual-textured: wet on top and dry on bottom. To keep the pompadour from being weighed down by gel, the hair team used bobby pins to create height.
The smoky eye from the Derek Lam show was a combination of gray, blues, and greens to mimic the waters of a pond. Tom Pecheux chose a larger brush as opposed to the typical eye shadow applicator to get a sheer, well-blended finish.
Lead makeup artist Polly Osmand deconstructed the cat eye for Siriano. She drew on one layer of eyeliner, smudged it, then drew over it again for a lived-in texture.
Want this classic flush for your next wedding appearance? Diane Kendal mixed a peachy blush on the apples, and then used an iridescent white cream to highlight the cheekbones.
For the Naeem Khan presentation, James Boehmer used a golden shadow to balance out the deep, brick-red lip and bold brow elements of the makeup.
To get this voluminous topknot, key hairstylist Jeanie Syfu coated wet locks with mousse for texture and hold. She blew hair dry, roughly raked it up, and let the flyaways fall freely.
You don't need crazy tools to create an interesting nail design. Manicurist Michelle Saunders layered three different polishes to get this unique striped manicure.
