Jason Wu Even Made Karlie Kloss Look Androgynous Chic

Jason Wu has come up with a formula for runway success: full-on glamour-girl makeup paired with an edgy hairstyle and plenty of famous faces. But he changed it up a bit for the Fall 2014 season, only giving us two out of three. Top models like Karlie Kloss and Jourdan Dunn still walked the catwalk, but Wu sent them down with practically bare faces. "This look is all about enhancing their natural look with a focus on the bros," explained Lancome's Diane Kendal.

Both the hair and makeup were a play on masculine and feminine. Kendal kept the face balmy but created a strong, straight brow using Modèle Sourcils Brow Groomer ($25). Using Kérastase products, lead hairstylist Odile Gilbert also created a boyish chignon. From the front, the style looked like a short men's cut, but in back, there was a twisted chignon. The team created a hidden braid underneath the updo to keep the head as flat as possible. Even though we've come to expect gorgeous, feminine looks from the Wu runway, this androgynous palette works for us too.
