Missoni Embraces the Messy Hair Movement

Textured strands are a runway staple, but at Missoni's Fall 2014 show, that idea was taken a step further. Models sported messy, twisted buns that, frankly, looked like a style we'd toss our hair into while hanging around the house. Pieces were kept loose around the face and down the neck, adding to this haphazard look. Makeup also had a morning-after effect to it. Black liner was smudged along the lower lash line and up onto the eyelid. But instead of a matte finish, the look was glossy, which gave it a punk rock vibe. Contouring was subtle, and the rest of the face was kept bare. As if we needed another reason to keep things casual on our off-duty days.
