Here's Why Britney Spears Missed the People's Choice Awards

Britney Spears was noticeably absent from the People's Choice Awards in LA on Wednesday night, but the singer issued a sweet apology to her fans via Instagram to explain why she couldn't make it. Not only was Britney supposed to present an award during the ceremony, but she ended up winning for favorite social media celebrity as well. She thanked her "Britney Army" for their support and encouraged others to "be kind and spread love" online.
