Britney Spears put her sweet side on display last week when she granted a dying man his final wish to meet with her and attend her Las Vegas show. Cory Moraw, a 28-year-old Texan man who suffers from DiGeorge syndrome and diabetes, was told by doctors that he has one to five years to live. After receiving the news, Cory and his family set out on making his dream to meet Britney come true. The family raised over $11,000 to arrange for hotel rooms and spending money, and Britney's camp donated VIP tickets and first-class air travel after they heard about Cory's plight. Naturally, Britney arranged to have a special meeting with Cory and, according to his mother, she almost cried at one point while reading a handmade card he had created for her. Britney's sweet gesture came right before her incredibly rough week. She announced on Thursday that she had split from her boyfriend, David Lucado, and later posted a video of herself talking about having a "sh*tty day." Despite all this, Britney continued with her Las Vegas shows.
