Dakota Johnson made a splash at the 2014 Met Gala in the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Anna Wintour Costume Center on Monday night, walking her first red carpet at the annual event. The Fifty Shades of Grey star has stayed mostly under the radar when it comes to big events, but she made an exception for the gala and looked exceptional in a Jason Wu custom navy microbeaded camisole paired with a navy silk gauze full skirt and elegant gloves. Dakota had the extra honor of walking the carpet with the designer. This year's Met Gala celebrates American-based designer Charles James. He was best known in the '40s and '50s for glamorous ball gowns that highlighted a woman's curves.
