Katie Holmes Enjoys a Night Out on Daughter Suri Cruise's Birthday

Just a day after debuting her film All We Had at the Tribeca Film Festival in NYC, Katie Holmes attended Chanel's annual artists dinner at Balthazar on Monday. In addition to looking flawless in an all-black ensemble, the actress met up with former MTV VJ La La Anthony and her husband, NBA star Carmelo Anthony.

Earlier in the day, Katie took to Instagram to wish her daughter, Suri, a happy birthday, writing, "So grateful for my favorite day of the year!!!!!! Happy birthday to my sweet angel Suri." Along with the sweet note, she uploaded an abstract picture, which could possibly be one of Suri's drawings based on her previous posts.
