Meghan Markle's Birthday Thank-You Cards Are So Sweet — Hopefully Yours Didn't Get Lost in the Mail

Have you checked your mailbox yet? Meghan Markle rang in her 37th birthday on Aug. 4, and Kensington Palace sent out thank-you cards to those who wished the Duchess of Sussex a happy birthday. Instead of sending a black-and-white portrait like they did for Meghan and Prince Harry's wedding, the palace opted for a candid snap shot by photographer Gerry Mooney from the royal couple's Summer tour of Ireland.

"The Duchess of Sussex is so touched you took the trouble to write as you did on the occasion of her 37th birthday," the note reads. "It really was most thoughtful of you and Her Royal Highness sends you her heartfelt thanks and best wishes." The letter was sent on official Kensington Palace stationary and included a gold seal featuring Queen Elizabeth II. Hopefully yours didn't get lost in the mail!
