Stars Let Loose at Met Gala Afterparties

A-listers from the worlds of music, film, TV, and fashion descended on NYC on Monday night for the annual Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art — but the real fun was to be had at the big event's glamorous afterparties. Stars divided their time between the official postparty at The Mark Hotel and the unofficial bash at The Standard Hotel, with stars like Lupita Nyong'o, who was still wearing her sensational Prada frock from earlier in the evening, making sure to make stops at each event. At The Mark, Lupita mingled with her 12 Years a Slave costar Laura Paulson and Glee's Dianna Agron and later met up with her fellow Oscar winner Anne Hathaway at The Standard. Other guests at The Standard's bash included the Met Gala's cochair Bradley Cooper; Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson; Charlize Theron, who doted on her boyfriend and date for the night, Sean Penn; and, of course, the reigning king and queen of the Met Gala, Beyoncé and Jay Z.
