Michael Fassbender kicked off the the 2014 Golden Globe Awards on a high note, putting his shades and beard on display when he walked the red carpet. He posed for photos with Jonah Hill on the carpet and played around with his sunglasses. Michael had a big reason to attend tonight: he was nominated for 12 Years a Slave with some stiff competition for best supporting actor, going head to head with Daniel Brühl, Bradley Cooper, Jared Leto, and newcomer Barkhad Abdi from Captain Phillips.
