Kerry Washington Gets Totally Out of Character on the Scandal Set

On Scandal, Olivia Pope upholds her gladiator persona by rarely cracking a smile, but when the cameras aren't rolling, portrayer Kerry Washington is all smiles on set. The pregnant star showed off her baby bump while chatting with her parents, friends, and her costar Joe Morton on Monday between takes. She even stopped to pick up her pup, Josie, while walking around in comfortable Ugg boots and multiple black ensembles.

Kerry has been a busy lady lately, winning big at the NAACP Image Awards on Saturday — she picked up best actress, and Scandal snagged best drama — and attending her baby shower at Shonda Rhimes's house on Sunday. Plus, with Scandal returning this Thursday after an extended hiatus, things are bound to get even crazier, raising the age-old question: Olivia and Fitz or Olivia and Jake?
