The Royal Family Had Some Very Sweet Things to Say About Princess Beatrice's Engagement

Princess Beatrice announced her engagement to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on Thursday morning, and people wasted no time in sharing their joy at the news of another royal wedding. The announcement comes less than a year after Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbank. No doubt milliners across the UK are excited that the demand for hats is going to continue for another year, but nobody's more excited than the royal family.

Beatrice's younger sister, Princess Eugenie, was asked to take some engagement photos of the couple, and she excitedly shared the three images to her Instagram account with a sweet message to her sister that read, "Beabea - wow! I'm so happy for you my dearest big sissy and dear Edo. It's been a long time coming and you two are meant to be."

A later series of black and white images were also shared by some members of the family. These were taken by photographer Misan Harriman, who said, "Everything clicks when they are together and that's exactly what my lens captured. It was an honour to observe and document such love."
