Shia and Mia exchanged "I dos" alongside Elvis, a fog machine, and a hula dancer last Monday, but despite the fact that both of them are wearing wedding bands, Nevada officials are claiming that their wedding was not legal. In a series of tweets, the officials wrote, "Our records show no marriage license for Shia LaBeouf & Mia Goth. A commitment ceremony was performed #Vegas." When asked by a Twitter user why the clerk's office had confirmed the news, they responded, "We were getting media inquiries & it's a matter of public record."
