Why You Already Totally Recognize Beyoncé's New Stepsister

Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles, married actor Richard Lawson over the weekend, and if you've owned a television in the last two decades, Beyoncé's new stepsister is probably already a very familiar face.
Bianca Lawson, 36, has appeared on Saved by the Bell: The New Class, The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer — just to name a few. Still, she might be best known for the fact that, to this day, she regularly lands roles as teenagers, despite being just a few years shy of 40. And as if having the exact longitude and latitude of the fountain of youth wasn't enough, Bianca can now also casually refer to Queen Bey and Solange Knowles as "my sisters." Not that we're jealous or anything.

Acting runs in the family. Bianca's dad has played recurring roles on TV shows like Dynasty, MacGyver, and All My Children.

Bianca's related to music royalty. Her grandfather George Gordy was the brother of Motown Records founder Barry Gordy. Her mother, Denise Gordy, also had a son, with soul legend Marvin Gaye in 1966, when she was 17 years old. Her aunt, Anna Gordy Gaye, was married to the singer at the time. Anna and Marvin adopted the baby and raised him; Marvin didn't reveal the fact that Denise was his son's biological mother until the 1980s.
