Watch the First Teaser For Lifetime's Aaliyah Biopic

Alexandra Shipp (Days of Our Lives, Ray Donovan) is starring as Aaliyah Haughton in Lifetime's upcoming biopic Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B, and the first look is finally here. Shipp replaced Zendaya in the role, and though this teaser doesn't show much, it does give us a peek at how she looks as the late singer. The move is based on the book Aaliyah: More Than a Woman by Christopher John Farley, and it's set to air on Nov. 17, so stay tuned for the full trailer and more updates until then.
