Not only does the premiere of American Horror Story: Hotel showcase some brilliant visuals, their music department has clearly been working overtime. In addition to the creepy score, the episode features four standout tracks, including The Eagles' 1976 hit, "Hotel California." Is it a little on-the-nose? Sure. Is it still awesome? Yep. *The opening scene in this video is very similar to the beginning of this sequence on American Horror Story. Both the girl in the music video and Lady Gaga put red lipstick on, then touch it with their fingers.

"Downtown" by Petula Clark

Plays when: The episode flashes back to 1994 and Donovan and Sally enter into the hotel.
