Ant-Man Has 2 Postcredits Sequences — Here's What They Mean

If you're planning on seeing Ant-Man, don't be fooled into thinking the producers were just being kind in putting the bonus scene midway through the credits; there are two bonus sequences. Both are exciting, and both point toward interesting developments for future Marvel films. Here's a rundown of what happens in each, as well as what they might mean within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The First Scene
What happens: Hank Pym takes his daughter, Hope, down to his lab. While the whole length of the movie he's been fighting against her getting into the Ant-Man suit to complete the dangerous mission herself, he has a change of heart. He shows her an advanced prototype of a suit that he and her late mother, Janet (aka the Wasp), were working on.
What it could mean: In the comics, Hope becomes a supervillain known as Red Queen, but the movies could be taking her character in a different direction. It's unlikely that Marvel would open this door and not go through it, so you can count on seeing Hope again — probably in that suit, and maybe as the new incarnation of her mother's alter ego, the Wasp.
The Second Scene
What happens: Captain America (Chris Evans) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie) are at an undisclosed location, hovering over a beaten Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan). Falcon asks if they should call Tony Stark, but Cap says no, that they're on their own. Falcon, who meets Ant-Man during the movie, replies that he might "know a guy."
What it could mean: Ant-Man will return! While this seems like a giant "duh" to fans (especially since we already know Paul Rudd will appear in Captain America: Civil War), it's still an exciting exchange.
