Ben Platt is giving me exactly what I need right now: glorious Kacey Musgraves covers. On Saturday, the star of The Politician shared a video of himself singing the country artist's hit song "Rainbow" at his piano. No surprise, it's effortlessly beautiful. His talents attracted the attention of Musgraves herself (along with several other celebrities) and she replied with a sobbing emoji. My thoughts exactly! For me, the original version is already a bright spot on otherwise cloudy days — and I'll take all the covers I can get.
