Carol Burnett Receives a Standing Ovation at the Golden Globes

Carol Burnett is a living legend, and on Sunday night she was given a huge honor for her achievements. During the Golden Globes, the 85-year-old actress was honored with the first-ever Carol Burnett Award, which will function as the TV version of the Cecil B. DeMille Award. While accepting her award, Burnett reflected on her trailblazing career as she talked about having her childhood dreams come true when she became an actress. After giving a heartfelt speech, Burnett ended things on the perfect note by saying her signature send off from The Carol Burnett Show: "I am so glad we had this time together."
