You don't have to be a hardcore Superman fan to enjoy this trailer for The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened?, about the Nicolas Cage Superman movie that never was. Filmmaker Jon Schnepp interviewed writer Kevin Smith and would-be director Tim Burton about why the 1996 film never came to fruition, despite its A-list star. This trailer gives a peek at what could have been, from Superman's bizarre suit to the spider creature he would have been fighting. Check it out, and take solace in the fact that at least we get to look forward to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
