Joaquin Phoenix Transforms Into the Late John Callahan in Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far On Foot

Is it just us or is Joaquin Phoenix in everything lately? In the first look at Amazon Studios's Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far On Foot, the actor portrays late cartoonist John Callahan, who became a quadriplegic at the age of 21 as the result of a car accident. Not only does the sneak peek, which is brilliantly set to John Lennon's "Isolation," feature appearances from Jonah Hill, Jack Black, and Phoenix's offscreen girlfriend, Rooney Mara, but it also marks Phoenix's first movie with director Gus Van Sant in almost 23 years. The two previously worked together in 1995's To Die For, which was one of Phoenix's first breakout roles. See the teaser above before the film's release on May 11.
